I program in PHP and MySQL, I’m good at it! I want to start something that is user-generated and free and would just generate money from ads. I guess I need a partner. Anyone have any ideas?
I’m liking what you all are giving me.

I want to start a business so I thought of flipping a home, my friends father is a real estate agent, and was hoping out of the deal he could get me cash to fix the home. His daughters boyfriend bought a home threw him and he got him 10,000 cash, I was hoping for 20,000 what do you think? To start a business I was looking to try to get 100,000

I am a single mom to a seven month old. I have been staying home with him but now find that I need to start generating my own money.

I have a degree in Graphic Design just acquired in February last year and am a mural artist as well. I have been toying with the idea of starting a design business and/or mural painting business. I don’t have any money to really do any kind of major startup, besides registering the business, but these seem like ideas that wouldn’t take any major investment.

I have a website for my portfolio which needs some polish, but it’s a start. I still am not sure if I should do the graphic design, mural painting, both, maybe just create a website to maintain that I can somehow get traffic to. I don’t know what would be most lucrative and most efficient in time managment. Any suggestions on how to decide, or getting started are appreciated.

I am starting my own home-based business. I hope I can expand it outside of the home in a couple of years, but until then I just need to know how to start it. Like tax wise how do I go about registering and do I have to get a Tax id?

My husband has a machine shop and only uses about 1/2 his building. I would like to start a business in the other half.

I wanted to partition off a room for an office and do bookkeeping and then I was thinking about maybe a document shredding business or a document storage business would be good – any other ideas?

Thanks!
The zoning would not be a problem. This building is located in the center of town off a main street through town.

I currently work for an accounting firm and you would not believe the paper we go through – we use a shredding service and have a storage building. Doctors offices and lawyers also have a lot of documents that cannot be thrown in the garbage because of the information they contain.

Thanks for the input – any more?

I have worked for the 501C business for 10 yrs total, 3 in this specific business area. They no longer wish to carry this branch of their association. When they close, I will be fired. Can I start up my own for profit business, with the same business description?
