Excellent business for You

I’m trying to find an inexpensive but stable/high quality solution. We have a main office that needs a site-to-site VPN with a remote office that has 5 employees. Then, occasionally, there will be other remote users connecting up that can be from 0-20 total.
Any help with links, product reviews, or personal experience would be excellent!

What are some good businesses for a single woman to start? I have heard dog daycare and/or grooming are okay businesses. What about cleaning and powerwashing? Are there any non-traditional home businesses that are hot right now? Thanks a lot.

I’ve already tried the Chamber of Commerce and the local SBA and they were no help. I can find plenty of the larger accounting firms but I’m looking for a smaller firm and it’s difficult to get a referral.

How can a small business compete in this day in age with a humungous E-Commerce company? what sort of marketing should they employ and what strategies?

I want to give my son my business without charging him any upfront money. I would like to pull a small income from the business each month as a retirement. I dont want a share in the business just a guaranteed payment each month. I have been in business since 1983 and have annual average revenue of $225,000. My son has been working with me now for the past 8 years and has shown great leadership skills.
I am concerned about things like tax ramifications of not handling this properly. Our business isnt incorporated instead it is a sole proprietorship. Would it be better to incorporate and retain a share of the business while giving my son the majority? Also I have a house for sale currently but it is pre foreslosure. I have a buyer lined up and we are in the midst of negotiating the home sale. If the house were to fully be foreclosed would this affect the business and perhaps even void the business sale?

As a side job, I run an internet site. Eventually, I hope to have everything funded through donations, but until then everything has come out of my own pocket.

In any event, I didn’t make a profit off of this site, but was curious if I still have to pay taxes on it. I’m also interested in whether or not running the site would qualify me for small business tax benefits.
