Being a mother of a newborn, I am not so sure if I want to leave her after a couple of months. In a little over a month I will be back to my 9-5 and I have been considering trying a business at home. What is the hottest e business right now, and what is the start up cost?

Well, doing ebusiness is sort of easy but need to have perfect idea before investing. As per my knowledge will suggest you to start with e-relation data search, were people can contact from every part of world. You can charge some fees to run your business. You also will need a hosting website. my siggestion for hosting
they provide normal hosting rates with free domain. Also they have free web hosting package for beginners or new into e-biz who would like give a try….!!!

Congratulations on your little girl!! You didn’t tell us. I don’t know the background of your business experience, but having had none at all my daughter-in-law has done extremely well selling jewelry on EBay. I got her started in Feb. of 07 and she is now one of the top sellers in her category. The start up cost was around $ 500. for product and misc. supplies which has returned itself many times over in profit per month. Don’t laugh it off, a lot of people selling on EBay have made some darn good money.

Hi, and congrats on the little one!

I’m recently involved in something called the Reverse Funnel System. It’s easy and fun but it’ll make you lots of money once the system gets going. Go here to check it out

I would check out e-bay. I know some people that go around to Flea Markets and buy stuff, take pictures of it and sell it on e-bay. Don’t know how much money they make, but it’s all they do, so they must make enough to live on. Congratulations on the baby!!!!!!!

Starting a business requires a lot of work and dedication. You cannot start a business this week and expect to be earning a good profit next week.

Employees tend to have a job mindset whereby they worked this week, so they expect to see results this week (i.e. a paycheck this week).

In business, you don’t see results like that. Take, for instance, starting a new restaurant. You’ll first have to choose a location. The most successful restaurants have their own location, with their own parking lots.

If you wanted to open a restaurant like that, you’d spend a couple of months looking for the right location. Then you’d spend thousands of dollars for an architect to help design the plans with you. Then you’d spend thousands of dollars getting your plans approved by the local authorities.

And then, after all that, you’d be approved to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on hiring a firm to actually build your building. And after that, you’d spend tens of thousands of dollars to install the interior decorations.

And then you’d spend thousands of dollars hiring employees and training them, as well as having them prepare for the grand opening.

And then, after over a year and spending over a half million dollars, you’d be ready to open the doors and start earning your first dollar.

I say this to illustrate my point: businesses take time and money up front to develop. In the longer period of time, this time and money invested up front will pay off.

But businesses take time to develop!

It is not like being an employee where you get instant results, meaning work this week, get paid this week.

Business is not like that.

I hope this helps.

I wish you much business success.
